Eastside is our go to in West Sacramento. We have gone there for the past 12 years. We have gone with several family members and friends and they've all been very happy with the food and service. Whether we dine-in, or call and pick up our order, they are very accommodating and kind and extremely timely. We have even asked for their private room when we've had a large group.
This place has been a staple of the community for many years because if its great food, consistency in staff and service, and family-friendly atmosphere. We always get one of the following: Chicken Curry, Salt and Pepper Chicken, or Honey Walnut Shrimp. The Spicy Wings are also some of the best in town. You will always see the same faces here and the consistency comes from the same chefs cooking all the food. Stop by and I guarantee this will be your new favorite Chinese food.
Finally found a great sit down Chinese restaurant. Our family ordered the 4 person family meal. Huge portions and could have easily went 3 person. It comes with your choice of soup, than noodles or fried rice, picked 3 items orange chicken, Mongolian beef, sweet & sour pork, honey walnut prawns, Every dish was delicious! The service was excellent, friendly , very fast service. even though they we're busy. Surprise they include a beef on skewer ! It was with well worth the money. Considering the ambience, service, great food! We have already been back a second time! Lol
The food was amazing. Real wok cooking at its finest. I had the lunch special. Garlic chicken, pork fried rice and pork chow mien. Other family members had equally good items. Also ordered pork chow fun. It was extremely flavorful with plenty of succulent pork. It was an unexpected treat. Service was good. Server very nice. I asked him to give my compliments to the chef. If you're in the area please give them your business. You won't regret it. I live close to Roseville. I wish we had good Chinese food like that near us. Also it was very clean which we all appreciated.
We are West Sacramento locals so we love East Side Chef! They have huge serving sizes and fair prices for dinner and really good lunch specials. The staff are always really nice and are very quick even when it comes to takeout orders. The location is large and cozy and in the middle of a shopping center with lots of other things to do around it. I actually plan on doing my first party tray order for an event coming up and will update my posting about how that goes! If you are looking for the best sitdown Chinese food restaurant in the area then this would be the place to go! Some of our favorite dishes include the sesame chicken, the salt and pepper chicken, the crab cheese wontons, the egg foo young, the chow mein and the fried rice.
First time at this restaurant. Quickly seated, very attentive waiter, and food came out fast. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, mooshu pork, and chow mein. All was hot and delicious. Place was very clean, including the bathroom. I will definitely return with my family!

Solid combo box option. Tons of food for $15, it comes with everything here plus soup and an egg roll. I always get their hot & sour soup, it's one of my favorites.
